... is more than a home ... it’s an experiment in how thoughtful design can spark joy, connect us to nature, and reimagine Oregon’s middle housing
What's going on?
At the edge of West Linn’s Willamette Park, The Cobana House is more than a home—it’s a living experiment. Inspired by the Case Study Houses of the 1950's, and designed by wannabe architect Pamela, we’re bringing back post-and-beam construction, a mid-century method that has nearly disappeared. This approach creates open, flexible spaces that connect us to light, nature, and the rhythms of daily life.

As Oregon struggles with a missing middle housing crisis, most new builds chase profit over people. We believe homes should do more. Our mission? To design inspiring homes that spark joy and are deeply connected to nature and how people really want to live, to offer real choices for Oregon’s middle housing market. Not cheap, soulless and built for profit ... but inspiring, efficient, and human-centered homes that will outpace the appreciation of of traditional middle houing. I home where you don't just reside ... you thrive!

The Cobana House is our canvas—and just the beginning. Follow along as we design the next generation of homes that put people, not profits, at the center, and explore how thoughtful design can shape homes that nurture both people and community.
